Misja Helsloot and Signum had to wait a while until they could finally hold their Open To Close in Paard, The Hague. And it became exciting at the end whether it could also take place on November 12. The time of the party had already been moved to 6:00 PM, due to government rules for events. And that same evening there was to be another press conference. It had already come out that everything would become even stricter. I was looking forward to this party, but with the extra measures ahead, I was extra happy that I had one more night to dance.
The evening started with Misja Helsloot opening with an hour of progressive under his new alias Helsløwed. I was there around 6:30 pm and it was super nice to see so many acquaintances again and to have a talk. At 7 pm Signum came and stood next to Misja and they started their b2b. Around 7:45 pm it went wild and from then on uplifting after uplifting came. Very magical was when the Sean Tyas remix of “Masters & Nickson – Out There” was played. See me enjoying it in the video below.
See below some more impressions. I laughed so hard when the dance floor transformed into Squid Game!
Time flew by. Five o’clock seemed to have passed in two hours and the last hour had arrived. The whole evening had floated away and the most beautiful Trance tracks had passed by. The last hour was unfortunately a bit disappointing compared to the previous hours. The energy fluctuated a bit and secretly I missed a track in the set. “The Last Rave On Earth” by Will Atkinson would have been very appropriate. By now we had also received what the new measures would be and unfortunately this didn’t mean anything good for events. Another ‘temporary’ lockdown has been issued. For now three weeks, but I think it will be extended again. Misja Helsloot b2b Signum OTC 2021 was The Last Rave On Earth for me for the time being.
